We tried this restaurant upon recommendation from a friend. In talking to the owner, we found it to be a well-established restaurant that has been in business for several years, though this is not its original location. It was a pleasing experience, warm and welcoming...The staff was very friendly, and accommodating of our group of 8 adults and three young children. We were given a complimentary sample of an appetizer or side item on the menu that we were not familiar with and ended up ordering two more of them! Each of us were quite pleased with our own meal choice, and with the samples we shared from each other's plates! The ONLY disappointment was that queso was not on the menu - which the 3, 2 and 1 year old with us would have appreciated and benefited from, but that is probably due to the restaurant having its history in El Salvador rather than being U.S. Tex-Mex that these young are accustomed to! I highly recommend Usuluteco Restaurant and plan to be a repeat customer.

Food was so delicious that we've already made plans to go back and try something else.

The food is fantastic, service is also fantastic. If you speak Spanish, talk with the owner if he is there. He is a very interesting person to chat to while you wait for your food. Am deducting 1 star because they close so early, 7 is always later then what I can usually make it. And a lot earlier then what most establishments close, even ones this small.

Have been here twice now and have enjoyed it so much. Very good quality food and not too expensive. I would recommend the fried plantains, can’t go wrong with ordering any of the pupusas, especially the cheese ones, sopa de res, and I loved the fish! Still waiting to try the steak. Good service and restaurant is well kept and clean. Just try it out!!
